We come in different colors, shapes and sizes,
With different skills and assets and desires.
And though the world may throw us some surprises
Each strives to get what he or she requires.

Yet whether we are struggling to survive,
Or living in a comfortable style,
We tend to question why we are alive,
Or how to make our lives be more worthwhile.
Though different, we have certain basic needs,
Beyond which, we would leave something behind
Which may be the remembrance of our deeds
Or friends' or family's keeping us in mind.

We are all different, we can truly claim.
It’s also true that we are all the same.
